Month One - Week Two

Our second week was very much the same as our first, though my husband has moved on to a more expensive medium to do his sculpting.  I tried to encourage him not to use stone, at 500Sim per rock its almost out of our price range, and eating up through our money quickly.  He says at the end of the week, when we take everything to the consignment store it'll pay off.  I hope he's right.

Thursday started off horribly as we heard people spreading rumors about us.  Saying my husband had been arrested!  He has barely left the property, let alone done anything to get him arrested!  I was hoping this town was prejudice free, but I guess no where really is.  My husband has gone to fight the claim in court.  Hopefully the court system is fair to all... including elves,  and not just humans!

Success!  My husband won his case, the rumor starter had to pay my husband some compensation and Zar's name is clear!  Hopefully this will be the last of the rumors!

So my husband was right (of course) the stone carvings made us 13,000Sim., plus 4,000Sim. in my paintings at the consignment store on Saturday alone!  This put us over 25,000Sim.  And we finally get to start building our house!  This is so exciting!  I can't wait!  Zar will talk to builders on Sunday and we'll see what we can get done!  (Personally I'd love a better bed!  I think the springs in our old bed are going to puncture me!)

We ended the week with a romantic dinner where Zar surprised me with beautiful white roses.  This week couldn't have ended any better!
